Upon car pick-up you will need to leave a deposit which will be refunded after the rent.
Amount of deposit for this car: 700
On the pick-up car the deposit/excess will be reserved on the lessee's credit card (MASTERCARD, VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS). In the absence of a credit card in the name of the lessee, the vehicle will not be provided. Debit cards (MAESTRO, VISA ELECTRON) are not accepted.
By choosing additional, half or full, protection the deposit is reduced to 300 Eur.
What do you need to take your booking?
A driver’s license must be valid in the countries where the car will be operated (minimum driving experience of 2 years). Text in the driver’s license must be in Latin letters, and the document must be issued by authorized bodies.
A passport or ID card valid till the end of the hire term.
A valid credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express) with a sufficient amount of money. During the hire period the rental and the deposit amount will be authorised from your card. Debit cards (Maestro, Visa Electron) are not accepted.
All documents must be issued on behalf of the client.
Payment options on arrival:
The client can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Maestro, Visa Electron debit cards, by bank transfer, or by cash. Rental fee is paid before picking up the car.
Mileage restrictions for the rental period: one day mileage for cars is 250 kilometres, for vans – 500 kilometres. Additional charge from 0.05 to 0.20 ct applies for excess kilometres depending on the vehicle group.
Driving to other countries
Rental cars can operate throughout the European Union (except the EU islands). Before you go, you must inform Autolux staff that the car will be operated in a foreign country.
Age requirements for the driver
The minimum age of the client and the driver must be 21 years. The client must have a valid driver’s license and at least 2 years of driving experience.
All Autolux cars are insured under the motor insurance rules in force in the Republic of Lithuania. The insurance includes: car accident insurance, third-party liability insurance, driver and passenger insurance. The insurance costs are included in the rental price.
In case of the hired vehicle damage or theft the client’s responsibility ranges from EUR 300 to EUR 1000 per, depending on the car group.
Clients can purchase additional protection to reduce liability. The fee for liability reduction depends on the car group and the hire period. Liability reduction fee does not apply in the following cases of damage: damage to the car interior, tires, damage to the car when driving off-road or in places not suited for car traffic. If police is not called in case of any car damage, in absence of police statement about the event, the insurance will not be valid.
Autolux does not charge additional driver fee. Additional driver must comply with all conditions and any restrictions applied to the main driver. The client is responsible for damage to the car.
Full - Full. Car is issued with full tank of fuel. At the end of rent the car has to be returned with the same amount of fuel as it was given to you.
24/7 service of technical assistance on the road is provided to all Autolux cars throughout the European Union.
Cancellation, absence or delay
You have a right to cancel your booking for free at any time, but not later than 72 hours left until the time of car pick-up. Free cancellation time is stated before booking, as well after by e-mail order corder confirmation letter.
In case you are delayed or late to take your booking it is highly recommended to contact the car rental company by phone: + 370 5 2660 500.
In case you cancel your booking less than 72 hours left until the time of car pick-up or if you do not arrive to take your booking, you are obliged to compensate 20% from the total price of your booking.
